January 2012, Definium has had an article published in the January Edition of the Australian Pipeliner Magazine. The article focuses on land access issues in the pipeline industry, and in particular how we have improved the accuracy of the digital boundaries for the Digital Cadastral Database. December
On 12th December 2011, Definium signed a 12 month contract as a sub-consultant for Worley Parsons on the QCLNG Upstream Project.
On 9th December 2011, QLD Department of Transport and Main Roads confirmed our pre qualification on their Panel of Service Providers for property services in the Level 2 "surveyor cadastral" category. The arrangement will commence on 16 January 2012 for a period of two years.
October
On 27th October 2011, Unitywater confirmed our inclusion on their Panel of Service Providers for Surveying Services for the next 12 months. We look forward to assisting Unitywater with future projects.

On 19th May 2011, a service agreement was signed with Bow Energy.
Unidel and Definium have been awarded the Powerlink tender for GALILEE BASIN TRANSMISSION LINE SURVEY, comprising 68 transmission line easements covering approximately 235km.

The news of the new mining tax deal is a welcome relief. The compromises made by PM Gillard will ease concerns about job losses in Mackay and other rural areas. More than $150 billion in resource investments in Queensland are now back on track.
